We build up this Garage with the Giro d’Italia 101 in mind, and we couldn’t choose other frame than the Superstar, the intelligent balance of low-weight, aggressive handling over highly varied terrain and long-distance riding comfort, thanks to an obsessed attention over the way in which the inherent qualities of carbon fiber and its manufacturing processes could be employed to produce an aggressively contemporary version of the legendary versatility of the Italian Grand Tour ride quality.

At the heart of the confident and predictable handling of the Superstar is its proprietary bowed top tube which allows the frame to respond in a far more controlled way than traditional carbon fiber frames to the deformations produced by road obstacles such as potholes or cobblestones. The Superstar’s bowed top tube allows for the bike’s headtube and fork to remain noticeably more (8%) parallel to their original position, allowing the rider to more easily control the bike in difficult terrain. The controlled deformation of the top tube also reduces the loss of surface contact at the rear wheel, further improving the rider’s ability to control the bike.

To build the Superstar at its best we selected the best components available, starting from the Enve Ses Aero Road Handlebar, proven in the wind-tunnel as not only a very fast bar in itself but also one that puts the rider into a more aerodynamic position, completed with its SES Stem to deliver a ride experience defined by responsive, confidence inspiring control.

The Enve seatpost pairs perfectly to the fi’zi:k Arione 00 saddle, light, flexible and agile, enabling you to perform at your optimum. The Arione is longer than any other saddle, flat from nose to tail and with a narrow nose, so you can move around to find your power spot.

The Enve Ses 4.5 wheels features a refined shape and construction that yields better acceleration, cornering, impact resistance, and weight savings. Chris King R45 hubs do not need any introductions.

Lightweight, aerodynamic, powerful, the new Look Keo Blade Carbon pedals have all the assets to allow you to improve and optimize your performance.

Grip is entrusted to Michelin Power Competition tyres, thanks to the new Race Compound derived from MotoGP technology.

The perfect group for this set up is the Sram Red 22, light powerful and safe, ideal to face all the challenges of a stage race.
