Team Colpack closed the 56th Giro della Valle d’Aosta-Mont Blanc with a smile, thanks to the great success achieved on Sunday, in the last stage, by Andrea Bagioli. T
Bagioli, 20 years, lives in Lanzada, in Valmalenco, with this victory proves to have found the condition again after a period not too lucky with some physical problems.
The end comment about “Valle d’Aosta” is entrusted to the words of the sports director Gianluca Valoti: “We started with highs and lows and with our top climbers, Bagioli and Botta, who came out not in optimal conditions from the Giro U23. We tried a couple of stages with them and also with Baldccini to enter the most important escapes, but we weren’t lucky. Today Bagioli has done everything perfectly and has earned this victory. It is a prize for the work of the whole team.”

Yesterday Andrea Toniatti climbed the third step of the podium of the 56th Trofeo Città di Brescia.

The Team Colpack’s rider was among the ten protagonists of the decisive breakaway that in the final decided the fate of the race and then in the final sprint he played his cards collecting yet another place in this race for him bewitched.

At the beginning and for several laps they were in fourteen riders and among them there was also teammate Paolo Baccio who gave his contribution to the success of the action. But the Sicilian was very unlucky, forced to surrender a few laps from the conclusion by a puncture that caused him to lose the wheels of his former escape companions. However, it remains an important placement for Toniatti on a prestigious podium and from today, for the Team Colpack, there will be the Giro del Veneto.
