A victory and a second place is the spoils of the weekend for Team Colpack, engaged today on two different fronts.
The Sicilian rider Paolo Baccio, the only representative of the team at the Montecassiano time trial, named 1st Trofeo Tris Stampi, beats all opponents covering the 13 kilometers of the circuit in 18’41” at an average of 41.748 km/h.
The other race of the day was the Strade Bianche di Romagna in Mordano (BO). The race wasn’t going well, with Colpack escaping a breakaway of 13 men and was forced to chase. Great job of the whole team directed by Antonio Bevilacqua that about twenty kilometers from the finish line went to close on the fugitives. In the final, three riders have escaped then went on to play for the sprint success. Nice second place for Team Colpack Jalel Duranti, beaten only in the sprint.
