For the 100 years of Giro d’Italia Galleria Campari welcomed the project Bike Passion. From Campari album a story on two wheels. The exhibition traces the history of Italian cycling through a sort of travelogue: about thirty vintage photographs trace the time span ranging from the thirties to the sixties, when the Campari brand has followed the great cyclists like Coppi, Girardengo, Cinelli, Moser, Anquetil, Baldini, Gaul, Magni, in the twenty-one stages of the Tour of Italy, in the stages of the Tour of the Three Seas, and in those of the Grand Prix of Lugano, acting as a companion and passionate sponsors of companies on two wheels .
Giustappunto The exhibition ends with the contemporary world, where design and cycling cross nine artists bicycles from Cinelli President Antonio Colombo’s personal collection enrich the exhibition, designed by internationally renowned designers: Alchymia, Alberto Biagetti, Sergio Calatroni, Death Spray, Barnabas Fornasetti, Stevie Gee, Max Lamb, Barry McGee, Alessandro Mendini.
The exhibition expresses very well the dual vitality of Campari, a reality that has always been interested by innovation and experimentation.
